Join the Van Wezel Performaing Arts Hall for an exciting season of Broadway musicals, top national and international performers, world-class symphony orchestras and a compelling mix of classical, modern and ethnic dance.
It's the type of stellar entertainment the Van Wezel has always been known for, ever since the Hall first opened it's doors in 1970. Back then, Sarasota was a small city, but one with a knowledgeable and appreciative cultural audience. An appearance by Luciano Pavarotti or Leonard Bernstein was an occasion to celebrate, as guests mingled in the Grand Foyer following an impressive concert performance.
The Hall continues to expand its outreach and educational programs, fulfilling its mission to touch the lives of every segment of the community. This season, with the biggest lineup ever of Broadway musicals, several Van Wezel debuts and return engagements by some of Sarasota's favorite stars, promises to carry on the long tradition of memorable moments at the region's premier performing arts venue. Come be part of the excitement!
