The Islandside and Harbourside courses promise to delight and challenge golfers at every playing level. With 45 holes of PGA championship holes set in lush tropical settings, two fully-stocked pro shops and a variety of instruction options.

It is easy to see why Golf Magazine has consistently awarded The Resort, the Silver Medal, as an outstanding golf facility. Members will enjoy playing on the 18 hole par72 Islandside Course, designed by Bill Mitchell; this 6,792 yard " watery challenge" borders the Gulf of Mexico. Water hazards come to play on every hole making this one of Florida's most challenging courses.

The 27 hole, par 72 Harbourside Course consists of three nine-hole courses designed by William Byrd. Bordering Sarasota Bay, the layout provides a completely different golf experience from the Islandside course as you play through stands of live oak, sabal palms, palmetto and southern pine. Membership is required unless you are a guest at The Longboat Key Club Resort on the Gulf of Mexico.

For the discriminating golfer who prefers a challenge, this Ron Garl designed 18-hole championship course is as beautiful as it is challenging. Not your typical Florida course, the front nine has rolling fairways with plenty of mounding, the back nine is through dense woods with undulating, rolling greens.

This three and a half star rated, 18-hole golf course offers such amenities as a full service pro shop, lessons, driving range, tennis courts, pool, lounge and restaurant. Tee times are available two days in advance.

Winding its way among sparkling lakes and woodlands, this 18-hole championship golf course offers both challenge and breathtaking scenery to the lucky few who come to play at Rosedale. The course was designed by noted golf architect Ted McAnlis, who succeeded in his quest to keep the surroundings in tact, imaginatively weaving fairways and greens through existing Florida forest.

While water and sand come frequently into play, some say the setting itself is the greatest pleasure of all. Tee times are available three days in advance.

Hannerle found this course very difficult to play but beautiful to see. Legacy is an upscale, 18-hole championship course, different from anything found in the region.

This award-winning Arnold Palmer-designed course, has quickly earned its reputation as one of the premier courses in Southwest Florida. The course features elevated multiple tees and virtually every hole is framed with sand and water.

But the big difference is the 360-foot wide fairways on all corridors, making the look very dramatic and visually challenging while still making it approachable to all players. 24 hour tee times.
